I really like the size and pure "heft" of this rocket.

I really like the size and pure "heft" of this rocket. Great kit to round out my growing rocket fleet. I have high expectations that it will make an easy L2 cert attempt with a JLCR. (Or maybe without a JLCR?)

The components were high quality.

Instructions were very good - both hard copy and online/videos.

I ended up deviating slightly from the instructions in a couple places:

(1) Installed the fins while the rear centering ring was OFF. Allowed me to get a good epoxy fillet between the fins and motor mount before gluing the rear centering ring in place.

(2) I installed an Aerotech motor retainer rather than using the z-clips.

(3) I used weld nuts with the supplied rail button screws - rather than screwing into the edge of the centering rings.
