These are 150mm ( 6" airframe ) Dual deploy rocket kits. The Fiberglass tubing these kits are made of is colored.. Steampunk rocket is Brown with a 4 - 1 Nosecone. Painkiller rocket is Red These 6" airframe rockets have a 98mm motor mount.... These kits include-- A 60" long 6" filament wound fiberglass pre slotted booster airframe section. A 30" long 6" filament wound fiberglass payload airframe section. 98mm filament wound fiberglass motor tube.. 2-- G10 fiberglass cnc machined centering rings.. a set of 3- 3/16" G10 beveled fiberglass fins.. A 16" long 6" filament wound fiberglass coupler / Av bay section. 2- G10 fiberglass cnc machined stepped bulkplates A 2" switch / vent band.. Nose cone - Filament wound fiberglass Von Karman with a stepped aluminum tip. G10 fiberglass cnc machined nosecone bulkplate Every kit comes complete with high quality vinyl graphics.. These kits are just absolute monsters.. We've all seen a 6" rocket at the field.. Two men carrying it.. We're so proud and excited to be able to bring these beasts to the rocketry community.. Our philosophy-- Never build a hard restriction into a rocket.. Such as a motor mount diameter smaller then would fit in that airframe. Or a booster too short to accept the longest case made in that motor diameter.. You see, we understand, the rocket you’re building right now is the coolest, baddest rocket you’ve ever built. But there will be a day after a dozen flight or more that the novelty of this rocket will have worn off and you’ll be looking to see if you can rip the fins off it, lol.. |
